  • Meet your neighborhood business owners.  Exchange contact information and set up your own watch programs.
  • Have good lighting on the outside and inside of your business at night and during closed hours. 
  • Screen and train all employees before hiring them. Only hire people you know you can trust.
  • Let employees know if there has been criminal activity in the neighborhood so that they know to keep a close watch out for any suspicious activity.
  • Never leave service technicians or vendors alone on the premises for too long.
  • Keep emergency contact, as well as your own, information near all phones for easy employee reference.
